Semolina Pancakes – breakfast doesn’t have to be boring!

Hi there! I’ve been very busy over the past few days so I had no time for adding posts but I’ll try to make up for it and to start with – I want to share a recipe with you, a recipe of something that seriously may addict!

Well, I’m already addicted and so is my other half (;

Yes, we’re guilty.

We both enjoy having Semolina Pancakes for breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning…..

They’re easy and quick to make, the whole family can eat them and they’re so delicious you can’t stop yourself from eating another one and another, and another one…..

I was given this recipe by a friend of mine.


  • 1 i 1/3 glass of semolina ( kasza manna)
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (cukier puder)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder 
  • 2 tablespoons of molten butter  
  • 1 egg
  • a little bit of oil or clarified butter to fry the pancakes on

Mix all the ingredients, cover with a cloth and put aside for 15 minutes. Next fry until the pancakes are golden brown.

You can eat them with pretty much anything you wish – golden syrup,sugar, honey, jam, joghurt, clotted cream or just cream ( śmietana ), fruit, Nutella etc.
